The Society’s archives and research library are housed in the beautiful 1909 Wright Building, recently renovated by the Town of Duxbury. Those seeking to research any aspect of Duxbury’s history are encouraged to contact our Archivist & Historian, Carolyn Ravenscroft, at cravenscroft@duxburyhistory.org or 781-934-1382.

The Library is open Monday through Friday, however, hours may vary so we strongly encourage you to make an appointment to visit.

Volunteer opportunities abound at the archives! Anyone interested in helping to catalog and organize our historic documents should contact Carolyn.
