Did you know? The 1939 movie, “The Wizard of Oz,” starred 33 year-old Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch of the West; Hamilton often visited Duxbury, staying at what was an inn owned by the Leonard family at 479 Washington Street (today, the Nathaniel Winsor, Jr. House and headquarters of the DRHS!).
