Saturday, October, 27th, Old Burying Ground Tour with Carolyn Ravenscroft

Join DRHS Archivist & Historian Carolyn Ravenscroft on another of her popular cemetery tours.

The Old Burying Ground is the oldest continuously-maintained cemetery in the U.S. and is the location of the First Meeting House in Duxbury; it is adjacent to land owned by the DRHS, the site of the Second Meeting House.

Sometimes called the Standish Burial Ground, the site has the grave of Myles Standish, as well as other early settlers, including John & Priscilla Alden.

$10 members/$15 non-members, children under 12 are free. Admission collected at the start of the tour (cash, please). Parking available along Pilgrim Byway or in the Hall’s Corner parking lots (short walk).
