The Duxbury Rural and Historical Society (DRHS) will host a Members’ Sunset Picnic on the lawn of the King Caesar House Friday, July 27, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Members of the DRHS are invited to enjoy an evening picnic on the lawn of the King Caesar House as they take in the magnificent view of the sunset over Duxbury Bay and the Bluefish River while Sparrow Blue, a local fiddle and acoustic guitar songwriting duo performs.

Private tours led by DRHS Historians Erin McGough and Carolyn Ravenscroft will be given at 6:00 pm & 7:00 pm.  The tour features the new installation: “King Caesar’s Counting Rooms” and exhibits a recent DRHS acquisition of a Weston family business desk.
