“Women at Sea” 2018 “Reclaimed Histories” Temporary Exhibition

Sometimes history is a little fuzzy…just like this picture.

Join us this spring as we try to focus in on “Duxbury Women at Sea,” the “Reclaimed Histories” Temporary Exhibit, 2018 at the Bradford House. Highlighting more than 20 women with Duxbury ties who voyaged with their master mariner husbands.

Each summer a new, lesser known story will be told at the Bradford House through objects and archival material in our collection. This endeavor is part of the project to #ReimagineBradford and reclaim forgotten histories.

The Bradford House is now booking private tours for spring and summer; the house will open for regular public tours on July 5. For more information on the Bradford House, and the Bradford sisters, please visit:
