Thank You, Dear Friend – Dick Morse

Richard Morse is stepping down as Chair of the DRHS Investment Committee. We would like to take a moment to thank Dick for his tremendous support and long term vision in guiding the DRHS to the financial stability we enjoy today. The Investment Committee is perhaps one of the most under-the-radar Committees at DRHS, but they play a critical role in protecting the DRHS’s financial future.

Dick was instrumental in fundraising and establishing our endowment in the early 2000s, and he has since played an ongoing role in the management of the endowment funds. Under his supervision, the Committee has seen several changes in investment managers. Dick has even provided a place for the Committee to meet at at his office in the financial district of Boston for their quarterly reviews. In addition to his service on the Investment Committee, Dick is also a past Trustee of the DRHS.  Throughout their decades of involvement with DRHS, Dick and Sheila Morse have given generous time and support that has enabled our mission. As they prepare for new adventures, we thank Dick and Sheila for all they do. Recent outgoing Board President, Chris Sherman, has agreed to be our next Chair of the Investment Committee.
