1807 Dateboard Society Event: Foley Home (18 Winsor Street)

Enjoy great company and a light snack as you view the home and learn about its history from DRHS Historian, Carolyn Ravenscroft. This event will also introduce you to the DRHS Dateboarding Program, whose mission is to promote the appreciation and preservation of our town’s historic buildings. A warm thank you to the Foleys for generously agreeing to host this event.

This is a free and exclusive event for DRHS Members who live in Dateboarded houses and select members of the public who are engaged in the preservation of historic houses. A firm RSVP is requested as space is limited. No walk-ins will be accepted. Please call 781-934-6106 or email colson@duxburyhistory.org. History of 18 Winsor Street:

Newlyweds Spencer and Charlotte (Howett) Winsor built their Federal-style home in 1801, on land that was owned by Spencer’s father, Samuel. During their tenure of over 30 years, the house was the site of much joy but also sorrow.  Join us to hear the stories!
