A Perspective on the Historic Trades, Speaker: Lee McColgan

Save event to calendar

Come hear a hands-on perspective on historic trades and preservation carpentry in New England from local craftsman, Lee McColgan.

Lee is a lifelong builder and 10 years ago he discovered the art of timber framing, which in turn ignited a passion for all historic trades. Lee primarily practices traditional woodworking, both carpentry and joinery, and he builds reproduction furniture. He also works in blacksmithing, masonary, tinsmithing and pottery. Lee is currently employed in the preservation industry primarily for Westmill Preservation (Halifax, MA) and he is the founder of Helve LLC, a historic trades company focused more on the building arts.

Although this is a free event, space is limited and we do request an RSVP: 781-934-1606. Sarah Wingate Taylor Lecture Series.
