Friday mornings (9:30 am): Join local fitness instructor, Cheryl Kilduff, for an opportunity to stretch, feel good, and appreciate the beauty of our surroundings on Bumpus Park, overlooking King Caesar House museum and Duxbury Bay.

Barre allows people of all ages and athletic ability to get a great workout. There is a level of work for each person ranging from light work to intense work.  Barre is a journey that allows you to progress with each class you take.

Instructor Cheryl Kilduff has been a Certified Pilates instructor through Balancepoint Pilates for 20 years, a Certified Barre instructor through Evolve Barre for 10 years and has been teaching group fitness for 20 years. She is currently a group fitness instructor FitFactory, Kingston. has been a resident of Duxbury for 37 years.

  • Location: Bumpus Park, across from the King Caesar House Museum (120 King Caesar Road, Duxbury). Bumpus Park is a lands property of the DRHS. To learn more, please visit: Lands Page.
  • Price: $10 per class.
  • Class size: 15 people, pre-registration required.
  • Tickets are non refundable unless DRHS cancels the program.
  • Students will need a yoga mat and a folding chair for class; a set of 2lb and 3lb weights are highly recommended but not necessary. Water bottles can be a substitute for weights. If students have a mini band they can bring that as well. Weather appropriate clothing and sneakers are required.
