Historic Clothing Gallery Talk

In partnership with the Duxbury Free Library, the Duxbury Rural & Historical Society’s Textile & Historic Clothing Committee will feature a new installation during the month of December: two red wool cardinal capes, dating to ca. 1700 and 1810-1820, respectively. Very common in northeastern U.S. homes and a staple of cold weather life! On display at the Library throughout the month of December and January; a¬†free gallery talk will be held on Friday, December 6 at 11:00 am, Second Floor Resource area of the Duxbury Free Library.
