Please join us for daytime workshop led by Mandy Howe where we will learn the art of Sailor’s Valentines. All materials including mahogany shadow boxes and shells will be provided. Attendees will go home with their own Sailor’s Valentine! DRHS Archivist and Historian, Carolyn Ravenscroft, will be give a talk on the history of this maritime folk art craft. Lunch is included in the ticket price.

Ticket price includes instruction, all materials including shells, 6 inch hand crafted mahogany shadow box, and lunch. Attendees may not finish in the time allotted, but will be sent home with all materials needed for a finished product.
