2014 Croquet Tournament Most Successful Ever!

Our 2014 “Wicked Wicket” Croquet Tournament was a smashing success – our most successful year yet! We raised over $4,000 for  preserving historical treasures like the King Caesar House and to provide educational programs like the upcoming visit from Abigail Adams (October 18th).

Congratulations to team winners Robert Fletcher, Kate Moriarty, John King, and Nancy King. Also to Shoot Out Competition winner Jon Lemieux, and Best Dressed winners Charlie & Martha Clapp and Joy & Bryan Bannon!

We could not do this sort of event without the great support of the community: thank you to Ed Quinones and Regan Peterman for being co-chairs of this year’s event . Thank you as well to the members of the 2014 Croquet Committee and to volunteer Scorekeepers, Nathan and Danielle Herschler. And of course, to our corporate sponsors: The Catered Affair, The 1803 Winsor House Inn, Eastern Bank, Beehive, and Scoops Ice Cream. Photos provided by Mary Schiess.

This fantastic event was featured in New England Museum Association’s (NEMA) online newspaper, Museum Updates from New England. Check us out under the “Sports” section here: Museum Updates From New England.

PACTV covered the event and broadcasted on September 18th. You can see the coverage at this link:
