Wicked Wicket Tournament Returns!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 18 for the second annual Wicket Wicket Croquet Tournament which will once again be held on the grounds of the King Caesar House. Bob Kroeger, Director of the U.S. Croquet Association Instructional Schools will again be on hand as the Croquet Master, judge, and instructor. He will offer a refresher course in the rules of croquet before the start of the tournament. According to Mr. Kroeger, our event last year ranked as the second largest croquet tournament on the East Coast. Not bad for our first time out!

Teams of four can sign up on line. Payment can be made through PayPal or by sending a check along with team member names and emails to DRHS, PO Box 2865, Duxbury, MA  02331. The number of teams is limited, so sign up early as we sold out last year. Registration for a team of four is $200. Registration to attend the event as a spectator is $25. There will be an open bar and food for both players and spectators.

The event starts at 3 pm with the refresher course by Mr. Kroeger. Matches begin at 3:30 pm. In additional to the winning team title, there will also be a “shoot out” to determine the best player at 6:30 pm. Food is being provided by The Catered Affair, who have also generously donated the bar.
