The art of pressing flowers has a long history in Duxbury. Come to the Nathaniel Winsor, Jr. House lawn for an afternoon outdoors. We will share beautiful collections items containing pressed flowers, and hear from DRHS Archivist and Historian, Carolyn Ravenscroft about the historical importance of Botany as an opportunity for women in science. Materials, instructions, and time will then be provided for independent crafting.
Thank you to the co-chairs of this event: Ashley Mohrman and Courtney Jordan.
