Please note: event registration is separate from making a launch reservation. Launch seats may be reserved by calling the DRHS offices beginning on Tuesday, June 13, 9:30am.
Our annual picnic is fun, but life on an island has its risks! Please review this waiver. Your pre-registration indicates acceptance of these terms on behalf of you and your party.
Liability Waiver Adult: WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILIITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
For good and valuable consideration, the amount and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby agree and acknowledge that I shall enter the property and premises of the Duxbury Rural & Historical Society, Inc. located on Clark’s Island, Plymouth, Massachusetts and its related boat transportation and related boat docking facilities and structures and departure points located in Duxbury, Massachusetts (the “Premises”) for the purposes of a tour and picnic entirely at their own risk and I hereby agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Duxbury Rural & Historical Society, Inc. and each of its respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, officers, directors, partners, shareholders, members, agents, servants, contractors, employees and volunteers (individually and collectively, the “Releasees”) of and from all demands, actions, causes of action, suits, injuries, personal injuries, property damage, and any and all claims, damages, and liabilities whatsoever of any name and nature, both in law and in equity, known or unknown, which I now have or may have against the Releasees arising out of, relating to, or based upon the my entry upon the Premises. I further agree that if, despite this agreement, I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim for liability against any of the Releasees, I will indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Releasees. By executing this Release by electronically agreeing to its terms, I expressly acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein and are waiving releasing any and all claims against the Releasees which I might have arising out of my entry onto the Premises.
Liability Waiver Minor: WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILIITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (FOR MINOR CHILD)
For good and valuable consideration, the amount and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, on behalf of my child, a minor, I hereby agree and acknowledge that my minor child shall enter the property and premises of the Duxbury Rural & Historical Society, Inc. located on Clark’s Island, Plymouth, Massachusetts and its related boat transportation and related boat docking facilities and structures and departure points located in Duxbury, Massachusetts (the “Premises”) for the purposes of a tour and picnic entirely at their own risk and on behalf of my child, a minor, I hereby agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Duxbury Rural & Historical Society, Inc. and each of its respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, officers, directors, partners, shareholders, members, agents, servants, contractors, employees and volunteers (individually and collectively, the “Releasees”) of and from all demands, actions, causes of action, suits, injuries, personal injuries, property damage, and any and all claims, damages, and liabilities whatsoever of any name and nature, both in law and in equity, known or unknown, which my child may now have or may have against the Releasees arising out of, relating to, or based upon the my entry upon the Premises.
