These t-shirts were designed by Jameson Meyer, a rising senior at Duxbury High School. Here is how Jameson explains his creative process:
During my junior year at DHS, I was accepted to do an internship at the Archives at the DRHS, where I ended up finding vintage Duxbury Beach permit stickers. I had been wanting to create a clothing brand for some time, and now I had the perfect idea. My goal with this clothing brand is to capture the feeling of summer in Duxbury with my designs. So, after taking inspiration from Nantucket permit sticker shirts, I designed a shirt that showcased an 80s Duxbury beach permit on the front and back. For every shirt sold, $5 will go to the DRHS, and $5 will go to the Duxbury Beach Reservation, who work hard to preserve our important beaches in town. In the future, I will be expanding my brand and creating new designs that still represent summer in Duxbury.
