Jim Goode is a native of southeastern Massachusett and Emeritus Professor of History at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He specializes in the history of American foreign relations, US political history, and US immigration history. He has published a number of books and articles in those fields. He will be discussing Rep. Charles Turner Jr and his involvement in the War of 1812.
