Eliza T. Clark Freeman

Eliza T. Clark was born in Malden, MA to Noah H. Clark and Charlotte Tufts. In 1848 she married Capt. Benjamin Freemen of Duxbury, MA. Eliza went to see at least once, in 1858, aboard the Reynard. Based on the date of the voyage, she was pregnant with her first daughter, Dora, at the time.

The Freemans moved to Reading, MA by 1860 where their second daughter, Alice, was born. Sadly, Capt. Freeman suffered from insanity and died in 1867. Eliza Freeman moved with her children to Wakefield, MA. She died of cancer in 1901.

Her sisters-in-law, Nancy Freeman Soule and Sally Freeman Dawes are on this list.
